I've hoped this day would never arrive, but I'm leaving messblack for good. It was my favorite site... like, ever. I've got a plugin for firefox, and it tells me 93% of the time I'm on the internet I'm on messblack. :P
Damn, now I'm gonna be bored.

Anyways, for those of you who care, there are a few reasons why I've decided to leave.
As some of you may know, I've been wanting to simply leave the entire internet. Leave messblack, msn, FA, take down my website, and leave my screen name for good. However, I guess I won't have to do that. I've decided just to leave messblack for good, and I have a few reasons why.

I. Future is generally a selfish prick.
A. I refuse to put up with him anymore, even though he claims everybody else is being annoying and/or selfish and doing everything wrong.
B. He did a great job of destroying his forum. There's nothing left with his site. Everything that has helped it become what it is (me) has left, and (I've) took everything with it (me).
C. Spyro, possibly the next greatest thing ever to come to messblack, is also leaving. Future says that his members need to respect him more.
i. Future, you need to show some respect to the only people that are keeping your site alive. If it wasn't for me, your site would be dead and rotting. If it wasn't for wolfbane (who, if you remember, helped get the phishing pages back up, and yet you banned him as well) and spyro and myself, your site would have died 3 times.
D. If somebody says, "Hey, what's the best msn freezer out there?" of course I'm going to say hackshadow.
i. It IS the best freezer out there. What am I supposed to do? Not help them? Point them to your freezer *cough* which doesn't work *cough*? No, I didn't think so.
ii. Even if I didn't own hackshadow, it's still the best freezer. There's no download, it uses 0 CPU, freezes faster, works on WLM 8.5 users, seriously. It's the best.
iii. No point explaining to you anyways, you don't really care. It's only good if you made it or something, idk what your reasons are, and frankly I don't really care.

II. I've put in way too much time and dedication for what I get in return.
A. I've been getting sick of Future. Sure, I love messblack and I wish I had enough to buy it from him, but when Future's the admin it's been driving me to leave.
B. I can't believe I put it with it for this long. I mean seriously. Future, you drive me nuts. There's so many things you do where there's just no logic in them at all. I swear, you have to be half retarded or something.
C. You're a great guy and I'd love to stay in touch, even after this, but seriously. There's just some stuff you do... it makes no sense.

III. All in all, I've been wanting to leave for a while.
A. Yes, it's true. I've been thinking about leaving for a while now, which is why I haven't uploaded any recent programs. You just finally pushed me into doing it.
i. Hopefully you can help all your members with phishing pages and such. I'm sure you and your expert knowledge can help all your members with all their silly little requests for free.
B. The people who already know are pretty upset about this news, a lot of them begging me to stay (thank you missy.senior, but now you know why I'm leaving). If you truly miss me, we've got our own forum being setup at http://hackshadow.net/forum. While it's not completely finished yet, we'd love for anybody to come and pay us a visit and join.
C. A load of members from messblack aren't happy with it either.
i. Messblack was leachers and lurkers more than anything. Besides them there were the few faithful members. Spyrorocks, Jazcash, Dan, Anil, alphasource (aka wolfbane) and myself for example. They're all leaving, simply because messblack no longer has anything to offer except scams on the homepage. Hell, you even got BL4Ck pissed.
ii. Sadly, Lee (from messblue) was right. Messblack is slowly dieing. It had it's run, but Future... you sure as hell slaughtered whatever was left. You said you didn't want us to leave. However, you only stated that once I took down my personal msn hack as well.
You used me, Future, you used all your members for your own greedy purposes. I'm sick of you making money off us then getting mad when I try to pay for all the work and time and hosting and bandwidth I've put into your site.

Anyways To better understand why (incase I left anything out),
Here's the conversation with Future, Spyro, and I -- [click]
Along with a conversation with Elise about him -- [click]
and of course, spyro's blog and response about the whole thing -- [click]

EDIT: I may be a little harsh here, but whatever. There's been too many family issues and friends stabbing me in the back that I don't' really care.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4370506972024986405.post-15583864399560173142007-10-29T10:08:00.000-06:002007-10-29T21:19:00.686-06:002girls1cup
Quote from Jeffery and I on 2girls1cup

(11:16 PM) Mc. I seem to be starting all my posts with, "It's been a while" now, because I rarely have time for anything, let alone posting on here. At least this is relaxing... Gah. I need to relax and find something better to do. I'd sketch and finish my art project, but meh. I don't really want to. I've been working on it too much.
Well, where to start?
Let's just say, those of you who know me, you don't really know me. Over the past few weeks, I've changed quite a bit. There have been life changing events happening, and I'm a completely different person. I'm listening to different music, I look kinda different, I do things differently, I talk differently, but the only thing that hasn't really changed is who I hang out with.
Oh wait, that's a lie. It's more like, "everybody's stopped hanging out with me" rather than "it hasn't changed who I hang out with."

I've decided I'm pretty bi-polar. Either that or I just have mental issues. Either way, whatever. I'll feel how I'm feeling, you guys will read this 10 mins later (yeah right, I haven't been posting enough for people to actually check), then I'll be in a perfectly bubbly happy mood. But all well. I don't really care, why should I? If I care about my mood or what I'm thinking, I'll feel totally different anyways.
I think I'm going suicidal. I've been under so much stress lately it's killing me. Not that my parents are any help. PSH. All they do is add more. They piss me off so bad sometimes.
This is related to my bipolar. I was perfectly happy because I made a great business deal and have already started making money, then my mom comes in and is all like,

"Oh Em Eff GEE! You never do anything. You're a failure. You suck at life. You have bad grades. You have no life, you don't do anything and I'm going to make you feel worse by calling you a troll and reminding you you never have no friends and nobody hangs out with you. Then just for kicks and giggles, I'll emphasize everything else just to make sure you realize how badly you suck at life and how poorly you do everything. Then, when you show me your drawings, I'll say, "Ok why are you drawing. You need to clean your room or do something productive that's not a total fucking waste of your time." Yeah, there we go. Now I'm totally the best parent ever and I really want my son to respect me."

Alright, well I have a few things to say to this.
First off, right now my grades are better than they've been in YEARS. If she thinks this will IMPROVE my grades, what the HELL is she thinking? First of all, I won't have a computer to actually DO my homework on, and second of all if she fucking takes it away I'll slit her throat, then I'll be in jail so I won't have to worry about my grades. Ah hell screw that, I'd slit my own throat then I wouldn't have to worry about anything.
Seriously though.
She never helps with any of the problems I have. I already KNOW I have no life, I KNOW I'm a failure, I KNOW I suck at life, I KNOW I'm struggling in a few classes, I KNOW I have no life, I KNOW my friends (in real life guys... I love everybody I've met online and I love through the internet, but I mean in real life, outside of the internet and the computer) are running scare, and I KNOW I can't even do anything correctly and I always screw things up.

Sorry to cut myself short, but now my mood has swinged again from pissed to heartbroken and horribly depressed.
I'm going to go now.
Bye.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4370506972024986405.post-15246841361566668322007-10-15T11:26:00.000-06:002007-10-15T11:43:07.357-06:00Guest Entry - The visually challenged drive
Here is a guest entry made by Rutger Semp! I know what you're thinking, expensive eh? Normally this would be true, however I've stumbled upon (thanks to SpyroRocks) host cheaper than the yearly price of my domain name ($6). It's not a host that's recently sprung up hoping for cheap cash, because it's been around for quite some time. It's NearlyFreeSpeech.net.
I've read the entire ToS, Privacy Statement, Pricing, FAQ's, along with everything else. I've scavenged the entire site for Fine Print, but I've had no luck. This thing <del style="font-family: verdana;">seems</del> seemed too good to be true.
After registration and a free starting amount ($0.02, but that'll get you quite a long way with this host), so far everything is actually following through. I've had no complaints, it was easy to understand and setup, it includes the php mail() function, you have virtually 100% control over your site.
There's no ads, no contract, there's simply no strings attached.
I've been using this host for quite a while now (for my site, and everything on it. Not my blog though, it's still directly on blogger), and my monthly total (for August) turned out to be $0.0019. That's for bandwidth and disk space.
That's a, "Wow," moment right there.

What's that? There's MORE? *Salesman-type voice*
Why yes, there IS more. You're probably wondering why it's called Nearly Free Speech, right? That's because you can host virtually anything (No duh Levi...). Yes, that IS virtually, so that does mean there are some thing's you can't host. AKA The stuff you still couldn't put on the internet (legally) if you hosted it on your own server. Let's just put it that way. :)

If you're looking towards it, or are looking into transferring, I'd personally recommend it. After reading the article it states there's no deadline for when it will be back up and running, so I can only hope.

I guess I'm going to temporarily switch to a free host... for the 10th at least.

I hate switching hosts.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4370506972024986405.post-90089724385321972912007-09-06T22:54:00.000-06:002007-09-06T23:11:26.918-06:00Hacker TestI doubt very many of you visit the <a href="http://lifesriver.net"target="_blank">homepage, and probably just come straight here, right? Well, if you have been there, you've probably noticed a few minor changes. Now it's not all ugly and white with loads of crap on it, but instead the background and text/link colors match this blog, and I've added a '<a href="http://lifesriver.net/bookmarks.html"target="_blank">bookmarks' section.
This is where I have simply exported my Firefox bookmarks, and uploaded them to my website. There's a section on 'Hacking' none-the-less, however I've taken a few of the more 'serious' ones out, due to me not wanting to get screwed over by my web host. The few I have there now are probably against the ToS, but I'll re-read it, then contact the administrator later so I can be sure.
You might want to check them out, or you might want to stay away from it. You're choice, but they are kinda cool. So far I've gotten the most output from the 'Videos' section, seeing how funny they all are. :P
The next most popular link would be the <a href="http://hackertest.net"target="_blank">Hacker Test. What the point of it is, is to get the password and 'hack' the site. That's worded a little funny, so you might want to go there to see what I mean. The first level is pretty easy, so I'll show/tell you how to pass Level 1, but from there on you're on your own.
Level 1
Right (pretty much) anywhere on the page, then select, "View Page Source." This may be called something different on Internet Explorer (I use FireFox), but I'm not sure.
You should now see a page with lots of funny text and 'commands' on it. This is just basic HTML, so it's not that hard and don't start freaking out.
Somewhere in the html you should see the following-

{
var a="null";
function check()
{
if (document.a.c.value == a)
{
document.location.href="http://www.hackertest.net/"+document.a.c.value+".htm";
}
else
{
alert ("Try again");
}
}
}

The main part of this would be -

var a="null";
function check()
{
if (document.a.c.value == a)
{
document.location.href="http://www.hackertest.net/"+document.a.c.value+".htm";

What this translates to is-
Variable A is equal to "null"
It checks what you typed into the box, and if it is equal to Variable A (null), then it will take you to http://www.hackertest.net/Variable A.htm.
Remember Variable A is equal to "null" so if you enter "null" it will take you to the page, "Http://www.hackertest.net/null.htm"

So there's how Level 1 works, now can you figure out Level 2?Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4370506972024986405.post-32362457486003088642007-09-02T19:02:00.000-06:002007-09-03T22:49:53.418-06:00Day at Dan'sYesterday on September 1st I was bored for EVER, then I got the idea to call up Dan at we decided to hang out. I went over there, and we were hanging out for a bit, messing with some stuff on the computer, we played the Wii (Resident Evil 4 and Metriod Prime 3) and along with some Virtual Console games. We went to Subway to eat later on, and I had the meatball marinara! yay... details...
FarmerBB, (aka Kilroy) came over as well, along with Adrian. It was over all fun. We had a pizza, we played VC (Virtual Console) games on the Wii, and we even had four player Tennis (on the Wii, of course). After that we played Mario Kart 64, and I remembered a glitch I saw on youtube... I figured what the crap, and we gave it a shot.
The glitch is that on Moo Moo Farm, 150cc (and on the Wii of course) that everything will be sped up like mad. Something to say I guess... ha...
Yeah, maybe I should stop talking...Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4370506972024986405.post-31483531042924720132007-08-16T14:26:00.000-06:002007-08-16T14:26:21.648-06:00I'm gone! *Poof*Yes, that's right. You've probably noticed (since I'm signed out of MSN, lol) that I'm officially gone! Me and my *cough* boring *cough* wonderful family are down near St. George, and will be back on the 19th (I think... we'll be back Sunday). We do have cellphone service, internet, running water, and electricity so it's not really camping, but we're down at my uncle's cabin, so I get to hang out with my cousins, grandparents, all that. I'm really happy, been looking forward to this for a while.

My cousins live down in Las Vegas, Nevada so we hardly get to see them. Later today we'll be going four wheeling, so that'll be fun as well. Just really relaxing (and HOT) down here, but yeah. As a lot of you so correctly guessed, I wouldn't be able to stay off the internets. But hey, an innocent update won't do anybody any harm. =P I still haven't visited Messblack yet, or got onto MSN, so that's a good thing.

Another side effect of my internet addiction is that I've written a program in Autoit, except I wrote it down in my notebook on the way down here. Some of you guys Beta tested an addon I made (not released on messblack yet. It's virtually done, but there's still a few things left to do w/it), and what I've done now is written a program to create custom ones with virtually no AutoIt knowlege and whatever. It's pretty cool (and untested), so I'm thinking I'll release this new program I wrote, and have the ready made one as an example of what it does.

Either way, I would just release the 'example' now, then simply re-write the code into the AutoIt script editor, but like I said I'm down in St. George (yay). Let's see... what more to ramble about...

Oh yeah,

I AM SO BORED! I mean seriously. Wow. There is virtually NOTHING to do. Usually camping trips are fun and all, but right now is just plain boring. Maybe it's because we're not really 'camping' or whatever, but for the most part of the day I've been wondering around eating sugar and watching TV. Now I'm on the computer, trying to tame the Internet Beast inside of me. Too bad this is my dad's work computer/laptop, otherwise I'd probably download Autoit and get working on that program, download Windows Live Messenger, and maybe *cough* Check up on messblack *cough* browse the internets... IDk.

Anyways, I guess this is pretty much an update, and probably the only one that I'll be able to do for the next five days, so ya. Enjoy your pitiful lives without your one and only joy (me) in them. :)Unknownnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4370506972024986405.post-53011385269208761902007-08-12T00:39:00.000-06:002007-09-07T08:41:04.108-06:00The 'Free Stuff' StudyLast Updated- Sept. 12, 2007 8:40 AM

UPDATE - It fails!

URGENT UPDATE- I found out why some people's offers weren't going through (including my own). If it says you're offer wasn't completed, then read this--

Step 1
In the top menu, click "Tools", then "Internet Options".
Step 2
You will see the Internet Options window. Click the "Privacy" tab at the top.
Step 3

On the left, you will see a vertical slider, move the slider until it says "Low".

The low setting will simply allow Internet Explorer to accept 3rd party cookies but will still restrict how they are used to protect your privacy. If you wish, you may set the slider back to it's original setting once you are done completing your offer.
Step 4
Click the "OK" button.
Step 5
Close your browser, open a new browser window and log back into your account.
You will now be able to see and complete offers.

Alright, here is a study about all those 'free laptops' and all those other 'free' giveaway sites, and if they really work. You're probably seen so many ads (I ♥ Adblock Plus!) for them you could choke somebody. However, the temptation of a Free Laptop finally got the better of me. I decided to ignore all those stories about people getting their iPods as fake, but when my friend Dan said he got a DS from one of these things I figured I'd give it a shot.

You all know how these things work-
You sign up for one (maybe more) of the free stuff sites.
The tricky part is that once you sign up for your free iPod, you have to complete a, 'free offer' from one of their advertisers. You can usually pick from about 5-10 of them, with some of them being a lot easier/better than others. In order for you to actually get your laptop/ipod/whatever you need to refer some friends (this number varies on the product), and they also have to complete one of the offers. If THEY want to get their free product, then they need to refer their friends, and so on.
First, you may be wondering why they'd just send you a free Laptop-
(1(you) +5(your friends)) X $90 = $540 -$250(iPod) = $290 profit for the site, just for you signing up. The advertisers are more than willing to pay, and the free site is more than happy to send you your Laptop. Now everybody's happy.

How to sign up-
When signing up, it's recommended to use IE (internet explorer)which sucks but some sites have problems with other browsers.

If you just want to skip the tutorial, here's the link- http://www.notebooks4free.com

1. Click the link above, and down towards the bottom it says, "START HERE" in orange. I then decided I should rant about it on my own blog, rather than in a small little comment not many people will read. Anywho, I guess I'll continue where I left off. This was mainly in response to the part about how video games and computers are 'bad for you.'
So anyways--
I AGREE WITH HIM COMPLETELY! NOBODY EVER LISTENS! GAHHH! IT DRIVES ME MAD! I mean what do people want. They say video games are bad, so they take them away.
Great, no more video games.
Hmm… I’m bored. I think I’ll go do some drugs with some of my other bored friends.
Get the point?
Now some people would say that instead of video games, I should read instead.
Alright fine. I’ll go do that.
Now everybody reads all day instead of playing video games (not that you don't read in video games of course. Plus, there's no WAY you'd be reading on the computer. I mean, that would be silly). Great! Problem solved, right?
However, not too long after video games are banished, now the books we read have bad content, and they're a 'bad influence' over us. I guess now everybody's stuck reading Barney and Friends.
Screw that, I'm going to go find some drugs.

Alright, so I know that's not exactly a fair argument. There are some bad things you can do on a computer (shocker), but that's really not the computer's fault now is it? There are bad things and influences in video games (gasp), but is that the games fault? In reality I think it's the fault of the child and the parent. Stop blaming video games and everything just because you can't control your child, and because the child is..... well usually kids are pains. I agree with that.
Stop blaming the computer for having porn on it, either trust your kid not to look at it, or go download some internet protection software or something. Going off of experience (no names mentioned) the child will usually just get angry if you put blockers on the internet, which will usually resort to them <del>trying to get</del> <ins style="font-style: italic;">getting</ins> around the system, or they'll get bored and go do drugs instead. How about instead you talk to your child(ren) about the stuff they do you don't want them to, and try to earn some trust/respect from them and maybe you can have some trust in them as well. If they don't comply with you, argue, yell, or continue to do 'the bad things' on the internet, then forget that plan and go find some free internet protection software. Just be careful about those drugs. ;)

As a side note, you can go here before you even say something about video games causing violence.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4370506972024986405.post-43537143341923223872007-07-31T11:07:00.000-06:002007-07-31T11:38:25.280-06:00BumperSticker-Tigerblade.netAt first I was reading some stuff from the blogroll on Dan's site, when I came across TigerBlade.net. I've visited his blog a couple times before, and mosts of what he posts about is actually pretty interesting. For example, I came across This Entry and it took me a while to understand what he meant (as the comment suggests). The following is a quote from his blog, along with a the picture he had posted--

<quote>Quote- "I saw this bumper sticker on my way home from work today... I did a double-take, as I thought there's no way someone would so blatantly advertise their addiction to a social networking site. But, upon looking closer, I saw that it was something quite different indeed. Note the characteristic blue globe of NASA to the left. Still... made me go "huh?" for a second."
</quote>
So yeah, I know what he meant by a double take... it took me a bit to figure out what he was saying. I just kept thinking, 'Wtf is he talking about anyways? Why is that Nasa logo there?' Afterwards I realized 'My' and 'Space' were probably two different words.<quote>
</quote>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4370506972024986405.post-71108966477956989522007-07-30T17:32:00.000-06:002007-08-01T21:42:20.173-06:00Backwards stuff in WLMAlright, here's how to turn stuff backwards in Windows Live Messenger. It works in all versions (including the latest 8.5 Beta), although if your friend's the one using 8.5, the backwards e-mail won't show up. Dang.
First off, let me thank Elise for actually taking the screen shot, seeing how everyone else was either too lazy or simply didn't want to. It's not the best quality per say, since she must have a low-resolution monitor, but still. I thank her for taking it for this blog entry.
Anyways, I somehow doubt you care who took the screen shot, so I guess I'll just go about how to do this, what exactly it does, and other ways it can be used. As you can probably tell, in my personal message it states- "It's the -- TOASTER SUCKER! -- BROODROOSTERZUIGER < moc.liamtoh@poh-sgorf >" That my friend, would be my e-mail address backwards. Below that, there's the little white bar saying I'm away or something. However, in my case it says- "I'm Mc. Haxinlaggins and.ylper ton yam dna ysuB is I" I'm not sure why the 'I' got stuck there at the end, but that's not really the point. How this works is you copy a single Unicode character (document to download at the end of the entry) into your personal message, name, or your message you're typing to a friend. Everything from that point on will become sdrawkcab. This is why my e-mail's backwards in my personal message. I added it to the end of BROODROOSTERZUIGER (Before you ask, it means Toaster Sucker in Dutch. Before you ask why, don't).
.meth etorw uoy tahw gnidaer deirt yeht esuaceb uoy derongi yeht tou dnif uoy retfa retteb neve s'ti tub ,meht ot dias uoy tahw aedi on sah nosrep retho eht nehw ynnuf adnik s'tI
Anyways (waits for you to figure out what that says, laughs after you finish), I'm sure you can figure out more clever uses for it, rather than just your status message and e-mail.
How to download-
Right click on the following link, and click, "Save Target As" or, "Save Link As" then save it into whichever directory you choose. I'm sure you can figure it out from there.

Now we should have a folder with no name. Now we just need to remove the folder icon. To do this, right click on the folder, click Properties, Click the customize tab, Change Icon, then scroll to the right until you find some blank icons. They'll look like white squares. Select one of these, press OK, then OK again.

That's it! Now we have an invisible folder! Otherwise, feel free to leave a comment. :)
Before we continue, the password protection isn't really the most convenient thing ever, and usually the invisible folder is enough. The password protection is probably only good for journals (which you can password protect with Microsoft Word anyways) or something you really aren't supposed to have. Again, I don't really recommend this, it's a pain and the invisible folder is enough.

Create an invisible folder, as shown above. Next create a .zip of all the files you want password protected. Feel free to name it whatever you want.

Create a Microsoft Word Document, and name it "Science Report" or something similar.

Edit the Word Document, then go to Insert --> Object --> Create From File --> Browse

Navigate to where you saved your .zip folder of all your Top Secret Files. Select Insert, then Click OK. Now you should see a blank word document with a Zip file inside of it.

Next go to Tools, Options, and click on the "Security" Tab. Next type a password in the, "Password To Open" box. Click OK, Verify the Password, then select OK.

Now Save the word document, and feel free to delete all the files you placed into the .zip folder, along with the original .zip (that's now embedded into the word document).

If you followed the instructions carefully, what we should have is an invisible folder that when opened, only shows a single word document named "Science Report.doc". Once you open it, it should ask for the set password to open it. After entering the password and opening the document, you should then find your zip file of whatever documents, pictures, or programs you don't want anyone else knowing about.
Also keep in mind you can place more than one zip file into the word document. This way you can have a separate zip folder for pictures, one for your journal, and so on and so forth.
Now, there are plenty of other ways to expand upon this further, but I'll let you get creative.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2
